Re: let's see some valve cover art..

It's a fun color, but I'm switching everything to gunmetal and blue.

Re: let's see some valve cover art..

HAHA.. People are making fun of my fugly valve cover here and I didn't even want pics of it up.

Want the explination?! Too bad.. Now I have to justify the gheyness of it.
I wanted it done when my car was red with teh bronze Rotas, so I found a guy who lives 1.5 hours away and he said he'd do it for cheap for me (new business), so I told him I wanted bronze that would match my rims with all red lettering and he said no problem. I left it with him for a week and a half (he said it would be a 2 day job, but it was too far away for me to go get it through the week), and when I finally go to pick it up he told me he didn't finish all the lettering so it was $5 off. I could have killed the fucking guy. It didn't come even close to my rims, the only red lettering on it was "Honda motor Co." and he only docked $5 off the price! What a dumb fucker. So, thats why I don't open my hood to most people. That, and that the hood sits on and melts on the valve cover.. Oh, and I've never cleaned in there for years.

So, thats my story you fuckers.

even normal dupli-colour paint will last long, doesnt matter if its engine paint or not, valve covers dont get that hot really

Re: let's see some valve cover art..

isnt it bad to paint ur engines? I know this is about valve covers but doesnt it trap more heat inside the block when u paint it?

dont think they do tho, just look for the metal-cast line of spray bombs, one will have a sparkly silver lid, the other will have a blue anodized lid and both say METAL CAST in big letters across it
