Did i use the wrong clear coat? I bought crystal clear, clear coat? Should i have got a high gloss one? To make it more shiny. On my other one the i did not need to paint i could see my reflection in it. This one i cant

You didn't need to clear coat it at all, all you ever need to do on the black exterior pieces is to use blue cutting gel till it's dull, then use 3M Foam pad finisher on a buffer or rag till its shined...It restores it back to new..We've done this on many of the winburned pieces on various trucks and it's come out perfect every time.

Yes, I saw the pics... Very windburned... And even with sanding, (if you have a gouge) 2000 grit wet sanding then using the blue cutter then 3m foam pad finisher would achieve the same thing.
