You know, that story reminds me of a movie called Money Pit starring Tom Hanks just on a smaller scale. He buys this house and there are a ton of problems that just come to a point. Eventually he is filling up a bathtub on the upper floor to take a bath. Suddenly the tub falls through the floor. Starring in disbelief he cracks and just starts laughing hysterically.

I can just see you sitting at the gas station laughing like an idiot.

I know how you feel; in my job I have plenty of those kinds of days.

Re: Re: Re: A story with somewhat of a meaning...

haha i have to add to this bad luck thing..

get the probe running fine for about 2 weeks, after i take the cat out, now the car start to smoke lightly, i think nuthing of it, so it becomes bad over time, i get pulled over and get summons for my widows being tinted im like wtf? ..

so that not that bad yet, but now its gotton to the point where i cannot drive my beloved probe, it smokes to much due to seals in the turbo going much like tat problem, but i dotn wana spend the 300 and fix it, its not worth it.. and untop of all that i have a big idle problem it idles at 2k and flucates between 1500 and 2000rmps at idle and it doest cut down.. so it sucks..

now im trying to locate another car (still top secret) and i cannot find 1 to my liking, i went to look at one yesterday and by the time i got there it was sold i didnt even get to see it..

now tomorrow i have to do a very hard task of stripping my probe and send it off to be donated, i cannot find a buyer, so off comes my bov. mbc, gauges, lights, and possibley my exhaust canister.. it gona be a sad day...

Re: A story with somewhat of a meaning...

well i don't smoke here, but when i'm upset with how crummy life can get, i get on here and read about other people's races and it makes me feel a bit better, that and just cruising around the streets (when my car is street legal to drive (ie headlights working, car door staying shut... etc)
