ok guys, this one is actually pretty simple, i don't know about the cougar, but the one with the most tuning potential in that list is the focus, any guesses why?

because it's not f/i and all the others are.

not really. car's with stock FI are much easier to mod for high hp than cars that aren't meant to be turbo. thier internals are already set up for boost. there are always exceptions though, but i'd rather modify an RS focus(turbo) than try to turbocharge an svt or zx3 and work from there.

if your looking at this from a prospective of most hp that can be gained, the non fi will win ,simple because it has the lowest starting point.

why not say those cars all suck...

pray for forgiveness for ever owning a domestic...

and go buy an import!!!

a 91+ 240sx would take every single one of those cars in a road race

It might be badged as a domestic, but with an engine that can handle twice the factory power output on stock internals, it's stouter than any domestic engine produced.

Sport Compact Car sure loves the SRT-4. That'd probably be my vote.

I consider them fairly reputable. I don't have a subscription or anything, but I picked one up due to some recent articles of interest. There were some Cavalier builds in the last issue.

I know one car an SRT can't take probly...the new 350z...280hp if I remember correctly and even though it weighs quite a bit more...it's still fast and probly faster
