I like the race idea. Except I say, race him for titles. That way when you win, you can take his car and make him watch you crash it into a wall. then go home in your race winner camaro.

Put a nail under each side of one of his tires. Prop them up on an angle so they lean against the tire. He will drive over them and eventually get a flat. You could also power brake your car in his driveway and leave a 2 tire burn out rather than his wimpy one tire burnout
