Nah, the piping is some kind of steel, probably mild steel of some kind, coated with titanium particle coating. N1 is the same way and mine hasn't rusted after 10 months so I'm still happy.
http://apexi-usa.com/exhausts_n1dual.asp The SUS 304 is just a grade of steel. Even metal is rated these days. The ratings have to do with thier expansion rates and ability to handle abuse.
