Re: spoiler on 3rd gen
A spoiler on the rear of your car creates downforce ,wich causes wind pressure to distribute added weight across the rear of the car.Spoilers in the front cause oversteer, wich is the pressure of the wind exerting a downward force measurable in pounds on the front end of the vehicle.front nor rear spoilers make a car faster.in fact they make it slower,by adding weight to the car at higher speeds. If you dont think aerodynamics is that big of deal,Get on the highway, and crank it up to about 80,and stick your hand out the window.then imagine if your hand was the size of your car.i have some neat wind tunnel tests pictures i should put in my photo gallery
