You can say that about any car make. My point is, even if it cost a couple of thousands more, they could market it a lot better and more people would be interested. It's a $15K car. Add boost, make it a $18-19K car and it can compete with the SRT-4, costs less and looks better. If the internals are already good enough for boost, why not just make a higher performance model and sell it like that instead of making the SC an aftermarket option.

I dont think performance is toyota's priority now, especially since its killing off the mr2 and celica.

Scion doesn't sell the supercharger...TRD does. I might be wrong (might be thinking xB or xA), but i'm pretty sure you can order the TRD SC as a factory option on the tC...could be wrong though. and that turbo setup is a GReddy kit...saw that on vvti.net

i meant it as there is not just a supercharger for the scion tc.... because from what i understood from his post that it was the only thing he said was aftermarket.

I'm saddened by the kill of the mr2 and the celica. those both are some excellent vehicles. (especially the first gen Celica... talk about beautiful)

didn't mean to give anyone the off track area.... just wanted to prove that the turbo has been created for it, and yes, the supercharger can be purchased from TRD on the stock tc as a special order from toyota.

some of you guys are partially right....The CAI that is offered by Scion is made by AEM and TRD supplies the rest of the fancy gizmos like the battery tie down and the engine anti-sway bar....and i meant it in the sense that Scion offers 3rd party merchandise at thier dealerships
