once i felt comfortable with it i was able to do that..

just takes practice, time and basically one tool.

don't know much about graphic programs, but from what I can see, it looks like TONS of effort and time were put into this piece. Great job!

I am very good w/ the pen tool. I was just wondering what the various methods are for coloring the car. It seems you just jumped in and did what ever you felt was right? No ryme or reason or am I wrong?

I have two drawings of JDM Tegs but I haven't colored them because I was trying to figure out what was the best way to do that. I guess I just need to play around w/ them, like you. I will post them if you want to see them.

yup.. it will take awhile, just play around with the gradients until it looks right.
