hi momo- hehehe, getting the arrows, huh? cool. btw, which height setting (TEIN) is your G20 right now? I want to get that same height on my TypeNA's. I hear a lot of guys use the lowest height setting.

I wanna set my c-clip the first time and not have to worry about ride height. hehehe. thanks

just got confirmation from TEIN that they will be shipping it today. damn, I hope to have it by Friday so I can get it installed over the weeeeekend!!!

gforces/luke- btw, are there any tricks or anything I should watch for during the installation? thanx guys.

You live in Chicago right? Lots of snow and salt in the winter? If yes then start squirting the bolts with some liquid wrench a day or two before the install. If you're not doing it yourself then dont' worry about anything. It's a direct replacement.

thanx Gforces. yah, I plan to have a local shop do it as I don't have a spring compressor handy at the moment.

you're riding on the lowest height setting, right? I think that's what I read somewhere... for normal driving, do you think I would have problems riding the bumpstops at an intersection turning? you mentioned something about you riding on the bumpstops causing understeer or something. I should set it 2nd from the lowest maybe? thanx again.

momo- I'm in the nw suburbs of chicago about 45min away from the city. yep, running over racoons & rabbits all the time. hahaha. j/k

I don't think I'm riding on the bumpstops normally. Only during really hard corners, like 90 deg to hairpins. 2nd last setting will give you a 1/4" more travel and still look pretty low. Ask the shop doing the install to take a ring out of the bumpstop....but retain the dust boot. If you drive in the winter you'll probably corode your shaft to hell.

If you get the Stillen bumper cover you can just shove those pesky varmits out of the way like a trains cowcatcher!

gforces- thanx for the info. in that case, I'll drop it all the way down. actually, Tein has corrosion proofing on the shafts and shell since even in Japan, Hokkaido uses road salt as in chicago. I asked Tein about that a while back. also, in Japan where humidity is always a problem in the early summer and summer, they make their car parts to meet all sorts of nasty conditions.

btw anyone seen konig tantrums on a P11? if you have any picts, please post them here. thanx again.

momo, I'm gonna borrow your thread a little. hahaha

Ok but that won't stop grit and dirt from possibably getting up there and scratching up your shaft.
