Re: help picking new car

not even the 2G's I think they look better than the tegs/civics. but I love the 3rd gen teg though. you do see em alot but when they are modded up nice and cone clean they are SO nice, better than the modded neons, cavaliers, 1G DSM's, probes, preludes, older celicas, etc...

new celicas are sick though.

Re: help picking new car

What about a early 90s supra?
I saw one here about ummm 3 years ago I think that was going for $3,200,(91 model I think) it was a turbo and was a really clean looking car I started to buy it but at the time I was already into the superchared scene and I didn't want to cross over, and in my opintion the supra will look much nicer then the civic or teg but thats just me.

Edit: Turbo buicks are always a plus too, and not many people would expect one to blow them away.

Or a first gen Vr4....

Might cost a bit more to get in the 12's, but is one of the best looking cars available, plus AWD will help your launchs

and first gens dont cost to much anymore, and theyre alot more unique/rare than anything next to the escort hahaha....

Re: help picking new car

Amish_kid remember that i said that a rebuild on a rotary would be like 3 times as expensive as a piston engine? on page one you said a rotary rebuild would be $500 and you told me to read before i post well i did some research and here it is
Soft/Hard seal recondition - 12A/13B - 13B TT ($2545 - $2895 - $3295)
New rotor housings,recondition - 12A/13B - 13B TT ($2850 - $3475 - $3975)
New rotors/eccentric shaft - 12A/13B - 13B TT ($4760 - $5545 - $6085)
http://www.rxforyour7.com/Rotary%20Engine.htm#D <<<(Click here)
and dont get me started on street porting a rotary engine.
and yes it is recomended that you rebuild your TWIN TURBO ROTARY at about 90K miles. and yes some rotary engines last longer than piston engines but not the TWIN TURBO ROTARY engines.
So you should do some research about rebuilding an engine from TOP TO BOTTOM. (key words are in caps)
