The sad thing is, people who actually know something about cars, they don't look at where the cars come from. If it's fast, it's fast. If it can handle, it can handle. If it has heated leather seats, navigation and xenons, it's "trying to be european" Some people don't always shop for the brand, they shop for quality, value and performance. If I wanted a 184 hp monster like yours and race stock Civics and 4 cylinder altimas, I could have bought one - the point is, just because you have a BMW doesn't mean that it's any better than other cars on this board. Some people here could have bought a BMW for the money they spent in mods (something you know nothing about), but they chose to make their cars faster, unlike you. You sound like one of those BMW pricks who think they're better than anyone else.

If you wanna keep going off topic, why not just pm? This thread went off topic for no reason. At least my stupid post was about vtec, not about accusing me how I think my car "is the shit" when it was never about my car you moron. I'm European. No matter how hard you try, you'll never like me.

P.S. Concerning your "no matter how hard they try" Read a few articles and reviews about the new "euro wanna be" RL. Even magazines who have been kissing BMWs ass for years say "After driving the RL, people might have to reconsider what they call the 'Ultime Driving Machine'"
OK, let's just end teh Flame war. I really don't want my progress thread getting locked because of this.

The spec V has cbt which is a form of variable valve timing but the closest thing nissan has to vtech is the sr20ve and sr16ve.

Re: Teh Frankestien is comming....

Are the sr20ve and sr16ve phones, because Vtech is. At least you have an excuse, unlike some Civic owners who don't know the difference between vtech and vtec.

Update:

Yesterday the head was sent away for Porting. The car now sits at Countryside Automotive accumulating the VTEC parts I am Missing for the swap.

These are my toys being put in the new head.

My Camshafts, Titanium Valve Retainers, Valve Springs, and Timing Gears.

My camshafts are machined by KMS Development. Any of their products can be found Here

My Timing Gears are AEM's new run of the TruTime Line. I have yet to have any experience with these but I was curious because of the fixed 3 Bolt lock problem which has now been changed to 5.

Sorry, that shows how much knowledge I have about honda's, or even more so about spelling in general.
