looks like a few of us with the same idea mines been on the back burner for about 12 months but now i have some more inspiration to finish it of

I've done a bit more on the Engine.
I made the Air Element by turning the ends on my lathe then cut little bits of plastic card to form the paper fins. The breather was done the same way. Please let me know what you think?  I still can't decide what colour to paint the car? I was going to do it silver but now I'm thinking about blue?

very nice engine! good detail with all the plumbing.
not to sound like a bandwagoner but.... i also am doing something very similar with the sard supra and the full interior and engine... d'oh lol looks like we all like this combo! can't wait to see yours finished!

Great stuff Rob. I love the engine, particularly those pulley wheels. You are geting plenty of practice on your lathe

Engine looks awsome, specialy the intake part. Colour is very hard to define, I like darker cars but maybe it is only me.

a nice blue that matches the engine cover would look nice, they would go pretty well with some gunmetal rims, since the cover is already painted that color, i would thing such a neutral color like silver would make it out of place, either way, jsut my 2 cents, very nice job on teh engine though, its like Hiroboy, but in 1:24 scale

Oh My! that is some great detail work! Love the intake and Pulley wheels! A blue would be nice, but a Silver would be awesome!
