That sound like a really dangerous way to gather information. its all wrong, plus what do they use this list for Gateway? do they actually charge people with these cars a higher premium? I dont know man, sounds like insurance companies can do whatever they want and no one can stop them, risky in that they are now in a legaly actionable possition.

no there is not extra charge for these vehicles from what people would already pay.
I'm sure they just use the list as some sort of a guide or whatever. ie: 18 year old reports an accident and he's driving a Mustang GT. I'm sure they will investigate to see if this person was racing or something.

YAY! I drive an rx7, im not on the list for a street racing investigation! However, my other car, a base 1.8L eclipse did make the list and it has 93hp.
