Wow, it is just a movie and it is just a sig, dont get all anal about it. Ya I have never heard of a 2 liter v-8, maybe you can show me a pic of this 2 liter V-8. If they made the bore the same and made the stroke less then yes but why wouldnt they just use a 4 cylinder so they could save weight. I truely dont think you know what your talking about because there is not one company that makes a 2 liter (122 cubic inch) V-8.

The cost of the swap... sheesh.

Alot.

$2200 for motor swap package off ebay w/ shipping
$2200 in parts
$2800 in labor/fabrication/wiring
$2700 for the car itself
_____
$9900 approx total.

And I'm not done either, I'm going to upgrade to a fuel cell for simplicity and reduction of weight. Plus my old stock tank keeps fouling filters cause it's 32 years old and has crud inside that's being knocked loose due to the pressure of the Walbro 255lph pump.

So add on another $500 for the fuel cell and having it mounted and plumbed into the system.

For now that's all... I spoiled myself... with Debt. But, I'm young and dumb... and wanted a fun car.

And boy, it's fun. I'll post a kill a minute... quite funny really.

I'm very happy for you mister.

Just be extra safe now. And also keep your car safe! Time for some preventive measures!

Well, my grandfather was a mechanical engineer and was a brilliant inventor.

But I got none of those genes... and I wanted it done right. Cause knowing me I'd probably would of skipped corners somewhere.

So, to me... I didn't.

Agreed.

Also, with this newfound power, perhaps you should at least upgrade your brakes, because you need to be able to stop fast if your going to go fast.

Other than that, be safe, have fun, and keep the car in one piece.

It's never had powersteering... so it's not a problem.

If anything, it's lighter to steer now cause there's no weight over the front axles.

Quite easy to drive actually.

It's been around 100 degree's out the last few days, Perfect for testing that giant radiator and single fan. Sitting in traffic it never gets anywhere near hot. Stays right in the middle, so about 170 degrees constanly. Plus the Radiator is so far away from the motor it doesn't get 'heak soat'.

Congrats Matty that is one sick swap. And you're double cool since now you have a midengine car.

Btw made do yourself a favor and insure the whole thing. Make sure you inform them of everything and get a proper estimate of its value. And get a lojack too while you're at it.
