hey cefiro..
no one doubts you, but every one of the magazines i have read has universally posted viper times under 13 seconds. all. and when i was at the track, there were three gts coupes all runnin high twelves and spinning the first three gears. i have never seen a viper 1/4 time posted anywhere above a mid-high twelve... maybe if you dont correct for atmosphere, etc, but they should still stomp into the twelves

You guys do know altitude have a major effect on how car performs. That guy said he was from Colorado. Viper is N/A and it can't suck in enough oxygen at that high of altitude. Only Force Inducted cars performance stay the same at such high altitude.

That was because you are modded up the butt. Besides a town car, give me a break. If that guy modded his viper half what you have done to yours he would have made roadkill out of you. He was probably stock. Yeesh.

Depending, I don't know about one of the first Vipers, say a 1994 RT10. They weren't that fast. Or he has no idea how to drive correctly. I am still lauging that he bothered to mod a Town car. What a waste.
Man I think I will go out and mod my Grandma's Buick.

Why are you laughing at the fact that he modded the Lincoln? I own a 89 Towncar and they are faster than you might think. About the only thing that can beat me is a V8 sports car, nothing else come close. personally, if i was gonna mod a Lincoln, I wouldnt choose a Towncar, I'd choose a Mark series car. If it wasn't for my engine problem, I would have some mods on my car. This is my feeling though. Yeah a stock Viper can easily post a 1/4 in the high 11's. The last test Autoweek did on one, it ran a 12.2 @118, and Autoweek tends to be one of the lower magazines for ET's

like it would take alotta work to make a towncar go that fast, and alotta money, that you could have used to just a buy a viper instead. plus if you did mod a towncar to be that fast (IMO a waste, like said before) you wouldn't be saying the engine is "CHROMED OUT!" LOL
