Dodge Viper GTS-R (now with finished pics)

Had to go back a little way to find this thread again!

Well here it is, finally finished, the class winning Dodge Viper GTS-R from Le Mans 2000. Overall I'm pleased with how it looks apart from the angle of the rear wing, it's a bit steep but apart from that it looks pretty good (in my opinion at least!).

Having a break now while our conservatory is built, then on with the rally cars.

Steve

I love the mirrored background, it adds somewhat to the realism

Looks fantastic and i really like the way u have displayed it for the pics, makes a change from the outdoor shots. Is this your first S27 kit Steve? What are your general thoughts of the kit?

Thanks all for the comments.

This was the first Studio 27 kit that I have built, and all in all I was pretty impressed with kit. The quality of the mouldings was very good and just about all parts fitted together as they should, the main downside to the kit was that as the reviewer in Scale Autos (the mag that Dan sent me) said the sponsor decals were a little on the big side and in some places it was a bit of squeeze to fit them all in, also the instructions left a little to be desired but the kit was fairly simple and with enough research through the internet this didn't cause a problem, so overall well worth the money!

The pics were taken in a pitch black room on a smoked glass table with only the flash from the camera to light the model, thank heaven for a digital camera with the screen on the back, you can take as many pics as you want, checking the screen each time to see if you have the camera pointing in the right direction and not wasting money on developing crappy pictures of half a car!

Steve

Just doing a seach on Dodge Vipers and found this thread which I must have missed before.

I looks amazing, where did you get it,and if you don't mind me asking what is the price of this kit in the UK?

Back when I first came here, this was an extremely inspiring model. Even now I am continually newly impressed every time I see it.
