Re: exhaust flame thrower

well thats what it is. you dont constantly shoot flames, atleast the kit i saw, was just a push-button switch that redirected the ignition spark so the gasses could flow through and light out your tailpipes...

Re: exhaust flame thrower

Youve got a master switch that you can put anywhere.. (in trunk, under hood, etc) and you've got a remote switch that you put in the cab near the driver.. BOth switches havto be on, then you've gotta hammer on the gas! and it'l shoot one quick flame

i've actually had this link forever, always been interested in it. you guys are talking about a complicated system w/ ignition shutoff and stuff, woa. this one just puts a spark plug in the end of your exhaust and has either a connection to your gas tank, or a small fuel cell that it uses that gas to flame .
i'd love to have one and burn the little civics on the nose when they are behind me . i like my rice well done

Re: exhaust flame thrower

i dont know about anyone else, but i definitely would not want a direct line from my fuel tank to an injector in my exhaust. i didnt really read the site the well (cause im lazy) but i think there are too many things that could go wrong and make it really easy to throw flames when you dont want to. ofcourse this is true of any kit, which is why i dont have, nor care to have one. but i think a direct line from the tank is more dangerous than anything else...

Only 150 dollars for a kit! Not bad.

Thanks for the link, I think I might check into this.
