actually for strait from the factory speed, 1969 ZL1, that thing ran 0-60 in sub 5 seconds, and the quarter mile in 11.73 seconds, on 6in bias ply slicks, imagine what it would do with todays rubber on it

In this thread, when dealing with second gen camaros you should separate 70-73 camaros from 74-81 camaros. I can't stand the fact that my car, a '73 Camaro, is of the same generation as an ugly 74-81 camaro... Hideous!! They can be fun though, you can still shove a big block in them.

Hard to decide, either a 1969 RS SS 396 or a 1970 Z28 with the LT1 350. I'd have to go with the second gen though.
