Re: Initial D: Ver 4 - What would you like to see???

guys, in america, and old NSX can be had for around 30k. Thats EVO/STi range there. I dont think its so far fetched.

And i'm sure that an old nsx in japan would be less than 30k (converted cost)

Re: Initial D: Ver 4 - What would you like to see???

Who would want the old NSX when the bright and shiny new ones can be had?

I don't think we're getting anywhere with this.

The story mode should be more accurate allowing you to race each character on the course they should race on.
agreed for the most part. i like the idea of better car physics... but for parts, i like the way it is. it'd sorta be unfair for the point system to have better parts with a higher cost (plus if they added damage to tires and cars, no one would have any points left) i'm glad they took out rocket-start. the main thing i want is ghost cars and ghost battles so blocking isn't as ghey as it is. about shin myogi/usui think about it, beginners would have nothing to help them improve. those courses are good for noobs.

Then they can just add them as later courses. I could live with 4 hard courses, seeing as Akina does get boring after a while.

Yeah, like have a made up mountain. If the problem is with noobs. Then they wont know the difference. Change myogi to big ass turn mountain. And Usui into waste of time lane. haha

Re: Initial D: Ver 4 - What would you like to see???

no, i know that. the stages that they will probably add in version 4 is the stage with no gutters, shin myogi/usui. i'm just saying they won't take out myogi or usui nor do i think its a good idea so noobs have something to learn the basics on. only thing that sucks is that there will probably never be another 4 course run.

Re: Initial D: Ver 4 - What would you like to see???

so what about the ghost cars or ghost battle? or a close-chase battle where if you don't get past win past 50 m you lose (boost off, of course) i'd be more for an even battle system. hence passing is way too hard in version 3...

Re: Initial D: Ver 4 - What would you like to see???

Ghosts? Impossible. Good Idea though. Everything is stored in a magnetic card. Your ghosts would not be able to save onto your card. We'd need some big Initial D cards. Like eight dollar initial d cards. As for run and chase. Yeah win by 50m sounds good(boost off). But even if you dont pass it'll be your turn to lead and if they were blocking you. You still have a good chance of winning now that your leading the next round. They would probably add something so the races dont last forever. Maybe best out of five? You know most leading points added up with chasing points. Something to end it without a draw or five hours of racing or making it harder for someone to constantly win like tire damage. Any comments?

Re: Initial D: Ver 4 - What would you like to see???

its not impossible, they'd have to update the card system, which would be a welcome change imo. renewing sucks anyways. run & chase, i didn't mean that you'd get another race, i meant that you get one race one stages, like shomaru for example... its very hard to pass but if you can keep up it should be treated as a draw. that'd be nice, if they added draw for those hard stages like shomaru.

Re: Initial D: Ver 4 - What would you like to see???

I'd probably like to see the characters with their real names. I mean where do you get Cole from Koichiro, Danny From Kenta, or Zack from Takeshi.

I mean its cool that Tokyopop wanted to make the series more American, but that doesn't mean that they can kill off parts of the it.

Re: Initial D: Ver 4 - What would you like to see???

Well, seeing as Tokyopop seems oblivious to the ranting against it's Americanization of Initial D, they're not going to use the original names. Still, where the hell did they get "Danny" from Nakamura Kenta?!

Re: Initial D: Ver 4 - What would you like to see???

Haha. Not everyone in america has seen the japanese version of ID you know. We werent even suppose to know about it. But thanks to bootlegs we all got ahead of the mix. What would be a nice little add on. Facial expressions. The picture at the top right should move a little. From a happy look(win there ahead) A worried look(your gaining on them from 0.1-20m) A shocked look when you pass them.
