Re: 97gs Vs. 350z (is it possible?)

how does a g35 have alot of potential. it has 280bhp its so much heavier than the Z. the 0-60 times are over 6 seconds.

Re: Re: Re: 97gs Vs. 350z (is it possible?)

http://www.caranddriver.com/article....rticle_id=1771

I'm starting to see 350Zs roaming the streets of L.A., and the design is not growing on me as I thought it would. Reason enough to buy an Infiniti G35 coupe instead. It's a great-looking car with a just-about-perfect stance, and it flaunts elegant contours. So it's 7 hp down on the Z-car; big deal, there's enough power to have fun with, and the slightly longer wheelbase helps avoid the dreaded freeway hop with which the 350Z is amply endowed. And then there's the back seat. At six foot five, I contend that only gnomes can sit back there, but the space is great for briefcases and jackets. The final point in the argument? Infiniti dealers. Case closed.

testimonial from the article that i 100% agree with...

and what is the deal with this pip-squeak?

i bet he think's his DSM powered honduh can beat my Ferarri powered DSM too. what a loser...

Mathmaticly you need to be making 238.9hp (at the fly wheel) in your eclipse to match the 350z, But we all know that front drive cars get more power to the ground then rear wheel cars so its probly going to be alittle less then that. (im not saying front drive is better, hell i wish i had rear drive)

Do you know that the engine for the 350z was made in france?

LMAO!!!..

you know they say when you're at a new place, it's best to not be too cocky.

btw, i think the g35 has 285hps. not that extra 5 mean much. it's definintely my hands down first pick SUV if i were ever get one. that and the crossfire is looking pretty damn good too!

The VR-4 this guy "beat by 10 cars" must have been in reverse.

Re: 97gs Vs. 350z (is it possible?)

THe VR-4 is a monster compared to a Z car...AWD and Turbo plus better styling...and why do people always talk trash when they are new or better yet when they are in the wrong forum?

Re: 97gs Vs. 350z (is it possible?)

ooops... never mind.. i thought you were talking about the FX35 suv. LOL... never mind. personally between 350z and g35, i'd have to go with 350z. .. sorry vince, something with the rear end of g35 that bugs me.
