Re: 03 Mach1 1/4 mile times???

Lemme redo that. A skilled driver will run low 13s, a good driver mid and amatuer high. As for hp, you need to see some mach1 dyno sheets. Ive seen in person mach1s put down anywhere from 265 at the wheels to 290. 15% drivetrain loss and your around 305-330 crank.

Yes I've heard somewhere that they underrated the Mach1's performance numbers due to the previous years before where they claimed higher numbers for the Cobra. But 320 at the crank is complete and utter lie. 290's at the wheeles is more believeable

Re: 03 Mach1 1/4 mile times???

Almost all Mach 1's are producing 272-290 rwhp. Ford made absolutely sure to underrate the horsepower on the Mach 1. That would equate to about 330 at the flywheel. I think they are a great car, and extremely user friendly. From a dig I believe they will smoke an LS1, because LS1 powered F bodies are extremely hard to launch off the line. From a roll though, kiss your butt goodbye. I know that some LS1's have dynoed as high as 340 rwhp. My old car ran a 106 mph trap speed at elevation. Corrected it would be 109mph, and that was with very minor modifications.
