Lol. A little modest indeed on the buick. One thing this young fella needs to know, and just about any car guy will tell you... is that there IS ALWAYS something faster.. this guy might wanna go out and whip every camaro he sees, but eventually one will beat him.. just the way it is. And vice versa with the mustangs

Hey lighten up on the the kid....ok yah i shouldnt say kid...but yah im 16....i own a 2004 cobra...but no my rich parents didnt go out and buy it for me ...i started out with a 1966 6cyl auto....slow as he11 and when it did work ....it sucked gas ...but i put up with all the remarks people gave me at school becuase they drove chevy camro ss and i had a ford well when i got my cobra they all shut the hell up.....now i know you all are wondering were the hell i got the money for one.....well i worked my ass off non stop ...in fact to save money i didnt eat lunch at school...for months...cus i knew i couldnt waste my money....so over all ....not al 16 yr olds are dumb a$$es but some are....and i think wat the kid means is he doesnt hate the car chevy but prolly had a bad experieance with some one who drove a chevy....cus i know i did i hate those fags who talked crap on my little ol ford...but when i pulled up in a cobra....well u get the picture ...so back off the guy leave him be...we all make mistakes....ps....chevy camaros are good cars...hell all american cars are...

Wait, your 16 and own a 2004 Cobra? You saved up enough money by skipping lunchs to come with decent down payment and sill have $500+ monthly payment? Your insurance must be through the roof on such an expensive car and you being soo young. I'm sorry, but I'm calling BS here! When I was 16 I didn't even have enough money for gas, or even a haircut!

yo bro i have a 91 five oh and i dont really like camaros, i do not hate them, but do not like them...i guess its looks or style it doesnt matter but the chevys i wouldnt mind owning would be a vet! those are ill! well i have only raced a 87 z28 and i guess u can say i smoked him! with only flow masters! it was a stupid race cause it was in a small street...dont ever do that it is verry risky!!!!!! and STUPID! do not race in town! go to the open were no one is! So let me get this right your 16 and you went out and bought damn near a forty thousand dollar car by yourself? See this is the kind of crap that makes people just go totally off when people come here and post BS. Listen there is no way in hell any finance Co is going to give you or any body else a loan on a car that expensive with no full time job. Hell you don't even have a credit history long enough to sustain that kind of loan. News Flash everyone on this forum is not 16. That story may fly in the high school crowd but there are plenty of us here who have been out of high school for years.

Im gonna have to agree with High Flow. Even with 10 grand down you still are looking at a $500. plus note without even talking about insurance. Nice try kid but that BS don't fly here. Wanna try again?

I'm 18 and still in school I can say for a fact that there is no way you could buy that car unless your parents did it for you. I have a 95 T-Bird and the only reason I could afford one this nice was due to insurance off my old 92. My 92 was a true teenage car! I payed 300 dollars for it and rebuilt the motor. It didn't have paint on alot of places and where it did it was scratched, but it was mine and I had payed for it by working and done a lot of the work myself. After I put every penney I could into it (ram air hood, dual exhaust w/no muffler, and alot more) an Escort pulled out in front of me about 15 feet away while I was doing 40 mph. It totaled it which ticked me off, but I got almost enough from insurance to a 95 with a 4.6 in real nice shape.

What do you really have?

Did your parents buy you a Cobra?

Not trying to be a ?!@#$ I just want to know.

If you work for what you get you will enjoy it a lot more.Something I learned from my parents because they made me buy my own car.

hey no bs here...i didnt just save lunch money....u swear like that would get me a car....and yah im making payments ...$535...and i have a job...i have had one for a long ass time...and yah....insurance is through the roof and im not paying it so ...belive what u want but i know what is parked in my drive way right now...

Dude I have perfect credit and I work at Catapillar making 14.75 an hour as an intern. I could not get a loan on a cobra on my own, I would need a co-signer. Also on top of that, I could not afford the payments on one. So you mean to tell me that at 16 you

1. Had the credit to get an 04 cobra on your own

2. Had the money to put a nice down payment on one.

3. Have the money to pay a 535 a month car payment,

4. Have the money to pay for preimum fuel (where I live it is 2.09 a gallon now.) on a car that gets at best 22MPG

5. lets say you go through a tank a week @ 2.09 a gallon a tank on a cobra is roughly 16 gallons that is around 34 bucks.

6. an oil change a month with synthetic oil ( have to use or you will void the warrenty) [email protected] a quart is 25 bucks plus 7 bucks for a filter (estimate)

that is 703 a month assuming you only use one tank of fuel at 2.09 a gallon.

your still in school and to keep a 20hr a week job and make the MINIMUM of 703 is 8.78 an hour jobs and that is not including taxes and other things that are taken out of your paycheck. that leaves no spending money for anything and im sure you don't just sit at home all weekend and don't do anything to afford your car. Comeon man, It is not beleveable. I mean welcome to AF but, please don't BS dude.
