Re: RB20DET Twin Stock Turbos

yah, he said, 'ive driven tt powered cars...' then he says "kind of" and mentions the 480 hp civic, fuck a 480hp civic, that isnt twin turbo and that aint a "kind of" twin turbo. it's a boring single turbo shivic that's fwd, dont get me wrong, 480 is power, but in the end, it's still a shitvic and fwd. i hate fwd. IMO.

Ive driven TT powered cars before with massive ammounts of horse power (kind of.....a 480 hp civic, and the r33 i drove last week)
now its not a tt civic....
Quote:
the r33 was tt but no the civic was not. you cant even put a twin turbo on a civic.

Re: RB20DET Twin Stock Turbos

i didnt say a tt r33....the r33 i drove was a gtr....and i just mentioned it as a tt car.

yea i guess it did sound like i was saying the civic was tt, but thats something so retarded that even i wouldnt say that. i was just mentioning that car along with the cars i drove with lots of hp.

Re: RB20DET Twin Stock Turbos

I bet when you were driving the GTR, it was really awkward to operate the turn signals and shift with the same hand.

Which makes me think of a question... If you have in fact driven one, you would know where Reverse is located on the transmission. Could you please enlighten everyone with your first-hand knowledge?

Re: RB20DET Twin Stock Turbos

the shift pattern on a rhd car is the exact same as a lhd car. first gear starting on the left, while 6th and reverse are located to the right. yea, the blinkers were akward, but it was in crowded downtown seattle when i was driving it, in the middle of lunch hour. so i didnt go past second gear, and when you turn in that traffic, your almost at a stop anyways so i didnt even have my hand on the shift knob. im not going to say it was easy, it was my first time driving a rhd car. i kept drifting to the left because i thought i was getting too close to the cars on my right. turning to the left was wierd being on the other side of the car. but right hand turns were no prob. the thing was touchy though. the gas was sensitive.

Re: RB20DET Twin Stock Turbos

You know I bet those blinkers were tough. Especially considering that they are located on the right-hand side of the steering column. NOT THE LEFT as someone that would have driven a RHD car before would know.

Now lets hear the excuse for you leaving out THAT little detail.

Gas sensitive on a GTR, your full of shit.

Look, why don't you just shut the hell up, you have never driven a GTR, I can say that with the utmost confidence. Infact, your pretty annoying.

Re: RB20DET Twin Stock Turbos

My gas is sensitive as well. It gets it's feelings hurt real easily. I have to be careful what I say around it.

That dumbass doesn't understand, that the RB26 is not a 454 with 13:1 compression.
