And ur an idiot if ya think that bolting a second stock T28 onto an SR would not be beneficial over stock.

I plan on bolting a 2nd T28 onto my car one day, cuz big turbos have too much lag and with 2 there is the ooooh ahhh factor

DOH!

I bet if I yell less inertia 11ty billion times it would make them work better than a well sized single.

Twins do technically do have less inertia than a Single however smaller turbos are less efficent than larger ones and it takes a very large drop in inertia to overcome the losses in efficency (cant remember the exact numbers from Mike Kijoma)

Benifetial compared to stock? sure whatever. two volvo turbos would probably flow more than a stock T25. benifetial over say a properly sized Tomei /Apexi single. Never. If you wanna be a whiny bitch about lag just pick up a 25-50 shot of nitrous and use it until you get to 10-15 PSI

Saying there is an SR20DETT is like saying theres a pink top just because some Yahoo painted his valve cover pink.

Re: yes there is a sr20dett

Im not saying that a larger turbo wont make more power, all Im saying is that if you had a twin turbo ( say something bigger then a t28) set up on an SR20 then it would have more USEABLE power, and that is all that matters to me as I wont be chasing any king of power trophys at the local car shows....

And on the SR20DETT subject, no it does not exist stock but many a tuning company has made a twin turbo Sr20. Saying the resulting engine is a stock SR20DETT is rediculous, but its just using nissans engine code to classify an engine. Such as tomei advertises their S15 drag car with a 2.2l stroker kit as having a SR22 engine, now I dont think we need to tell them that a stock one of theirs does not exist

Re: yes there is a sr20dett

it is point less to have a TT setup on a 4cyl, the added pipping and crumped space aren't worth shit. A TT setup is best for V-blocks and anything above 6cyl.
If you ask me, the Buggati with all its finess is kind of pointless, how do you have 16cyl quad T and only get 950hp, we got guys with RBs' 2JZ, already getting that, and hell, the ACN Viper got 750Hp N/A, that was pathetic to me, I would atleast be getting a good 2000Hp with a W16 TTTT.

Re: yes there is a sr20dett

I think sr20det is better with a single turbo setup, it is not a sr20dett, its sr20det converted to 2 turbo (like fdtt said) And the only purpose of twin turbo on a 4 cylinder engine is prolly for sequential set up, otherwise it is a waste of turbos and money (i think so).

Is a sequential set up like physically impossible to do or something, is there something I am missing? Of course I am talking about sequential.
really it all comes down to someones personal opinion, physics is for engineers :P
And I prefer a low lag set up, but I want high USEABLE power, so when I get the money Im gonna slap a 2nd t28 onto my SR.

And funny you should say that, cuz Id have a T3 turbo second only to a T28(in terms of turbos available stock on cars, T3s on volvos are damn good turbos, newer ones anyway....

dude i dont know why your so set on a twin setup but twin T28s on an SR or not gonna give you "useable power" twin S15 T28s are bigger than what the skyline gets and it has .6 of a liter on an SR20.

if you have a Redtop SR you have a T25 (deduced from PS13)

anyhoo if you want "Useable Power" stick with one S15 T28. and a bunch of supporting mods and you'll have a good 300 whp with hardly any lag.
