i guess alot of ppl cannot understand how it feels to be put into a stereotype unless they are in the shoes. but im glad there are ppl that post here that do understand. when you have such a strong passion for something while everyone bashes on you because they believe the stereotype its frustrating and after awhile its depressing. Many times I think i'll decline the b20/vtec and just pretty it for the shows and get a nice bike like the suzuki hyabusa, more go than my car will ever be. and if i crash and die, well then at least i wont be around anymore to be stereotyped.

I really feel you. Being Korean, driving an import, and living in a redneck town, you have no idea the number of stereotypes and BS I have to go through.

I'm not trying to lecture you or anything, cause I'm not your momma so I hope this doesn't come off that way, but bashing on a person because of what you perceive as rice is not the right thing to do.

You never know, this might just be the first step of her turning her eclipse into one nasty show car. The show aspect is dominated by guys too and I will admit, a lot of my friends snicker when they see the little hello kitty dolls and ish in the cars at the shows. But if she really puts her mind to it and does it well, I think she deserves all the respect in the world for doing what she's doing.

this forum is definately more about encouraging girls to take a stand for themselves (even though it IS named girls RACERS' spot) hehe but i definately think if shes more into show we should encourage her and guide her as to the do's and dont's so instead of having another girl ricer maybe one day she'll be here helping other girls on doing it right and earning that respect for girls that they deserve whether they are show or go

well good for you, but above all, i think regardless of what you are getting done to you car you should definately try to learn what the person is doing so later on you know more about your car, how it works, and how to fix or change stuff yourself....even if it just just the wiring of some lights

I'll give any girl into cars some props. Guys are expected to dig cars & know stuff, but a chick tries to learn & everyone calls her a poser. Then if she comes out to the street she's labled a slut.
Who cares if it takes some help from the guys to get rollin. The guys help with my work all the time... why should it be different if your a chick.
If you wana cute car go with a VW, Mini, or Integra... if you want a bit of speed with that to try a nissan.

damn dayna, seems like everyone hates you and your stupid ass comments, your car looks like a bug, eclipses at least look decent (granted you are bashing an RS, which is acceptable). if i were you, i'd just stop posting dumb comment cuz when you need help somewhere along the line, all your gonna get is smart-ass remarks. just some friendly advice. peace.

Actually about 95% of the people who don't like me are judgemental sub-18 year old high schoolers.

My car looks like a bug? Your car is THE definition of rice. Clear taillights/corners, bodykit, cheap wheels, painted calipers, neons, want me to go on? But who cares? You like your car and I like mine. Have you even driven a WRX? Or would you not be caught dead in one since it looks like an insect?

I come to this website to help people, not to get help. If I need help with anything, I will ask my boyfriend or figure it out myself. Thanks for your advice, but I think I can take care of myself.
