I'd just like to comment about the s2k not being able to make much more power.
Its not even turbo charged and the factory pistons are forged. Not much more power? Ive seen 9psi of boost (properly cooled) supply the roadster with enough air to put 345hp on the ground. And its not like 9psi of boost is any kind of strain on the turbo... Can you imagine that motors output at 20+ psi? With the right internals, that would be incredible thrust. The way I figure it, (the boost raising the VE over 200%) it would be anywhere from 560-600hp That would be nice to see.

Anyways, back to the subject (even though this is kinda old) the Loctite GT-R was NOT run by the same team as the Loctite NSX which was raced by Dome-Mugen, the GT-R was on Team Nismo, team car with the Xanavi Skyline, but the team seems to change sponsors every year, the (The same car- Kure to Zexel to Pennzoil to Loctite to Pennzoil again, than it's current scheme) The Zexel Skyline was not overly successful, it was one the year the Skyline got on the downfall, the car broke a two-year Champinoship winning streak for the team. So, basically the Pennzoil-Zexel Skyline and the Loctite were the same car with a different paint scheme in opposing years...the team is back on the rise again this year with the new GT-R powerplant, leading the championship with a few rounds to go.
