the detail work is astonishing the whole thing looks great so far!

I don't know how to put this... the way the intake is setup is for a non-turbocharged engine, but you have the turbo on it, don't hate me, I am only saying this in case you don't know

you'll probably hate me anyways because I have planned to paint my eclipse black also and I'm not changing my color, you've only reinforced my decision as yours looks HOT.

That looks pretty damn steathy...

But as blueboost said your turbo setup is alittle off the wall. A turbo uses the exhaust fumes to spool up and suck in more air, but I'm assuming you knew this already and this setup is similar to... I'm gonna go ahead and stop talking now, your Eclipse looks great1

blue boost, I previously owned a 90 eclipse gs, 4g63 n/a, and the intake pipe came out on the left, but was on the backside of the engine, and the exhaust on the front, I'll post some pics of my revell's engine bay to show you what the real turbo-charged 4g63 would look like, AMT really f***ed this kit up. BTW, slk, looks good, I like that gas cap.

I made parts of it, but not the whole thing.

I know all about the turbo and its configuration.. I figured I would put a "dummy turbo" in the front, just for laughs But I guess you guys thought I was just being silly hehe... I am just playing around thats all, no biggy!

Ok, more updates time.. I have been scratch building some little items that make it fun for me to model cars so here they are:

Silver carbo fiber hood with photoetch releases/catches:

Heads up display/navigation system, turbo timer, guages are not scratchbuilt, but could benefit from extra detailing:

and a set of SAS drilled brakes will be going on this one as well!

^^ those custom guages and engine management hardware it HOT!! (I need not even mention those SAS brakes!!!!)

ps 86_sr5, don't post it for me man I know exactly what its supposed to look like. I suppose SLK320 does also. thank you anyways though. SLK you need to drop a header on that b!tch for all us anal ppl (or re-route the intake pipe because IMO you should keep it turbocharged)

are you putting a FMIC on this beauty? I guess that would be an important question considering the intake

I say just throw the header on the front where it belongs, and kinda rig it up on the turbo.

While I am thinking over my "engine" options, I am working on the interior.. here is some test shots:

The gauges are pirated off of another kit as this one does not come with guage decals... or a normal steering wheel...

Now center counsole receives the heads up DVD/Nav, photoetch shift gate and turned metal shift knob (sparco style):

Re: Project Total ECLIPSE...

Your shift plate is upsidedown/backwards. the reverse should be on the far right at the bottom.

Thanks for the compliments..

The shift gate is fixed... didn't pay attention to what the Eclipse gate looked like.

The hardest part of this project (the chasis) is still coming up....
