I have a 1995 4.0l HO with 122K original engine. Has MSD ignition, throttle body, intake, header and exhaust and jet chip stage 2

She runs like a charm, only problem I have is with the T-case.

Re: Top mileage award

I have a 1997 Jeep wrangler (4.0) with 118,000 runs great.. lot's of power, no burning of oil.

new exhaust, new brakes, new rotors, new tires, new shocks, new carpet, etc...

engine is pretty much stock and runs great!

Re: Top mileage award

My '97 2.5L Wrangler had almost 150K and no problems when I had to sell it to pay child support.

Re: Top mileage award

my 1995 jeep wrangler has rolled over 355,000 miles. original engine. had to replaced valve rockers and pipe, seems they wore very deep grooves in the pipe.burns 1 quart oil every 3000 miles. get 390 miles to the tank gas mileage. have replaced all wheel bearings front and rear. psteering gearbox replaced. all computer sensors replaced. new cat converter and o-2. still runs like a spotted monkey i call it my "go 2 hell jeep"!!!!! im driving it till it all goes 2 hell on me!!!!!then im leaving it where ever it breaks down

Re: Top mileage award

Personally, I've got a '94 Wrangler that has 120,000 miles on it. Still runs great, as it should... but the reason for this post is for my B.I.L (Brother in law)

He had Comanche (Jeep Pickup), I dont recall the year. But it had 270,xxx miles on it before he drove it from Utah to Carolina. Never had a single problem with it (during the trip). He sold it to another B.I.L which never took care of it. Now it needs way more work than its worth, with just over 320,xxx miles on it.

true story.

Re: Top mileage award

My 97 Sahara just rolled over 120,000 miles. 4.0 il6, had a recent 2-part compression test--it runs like new! Just keep changing the oil, boys...will last forever.
