There is a 500,000 mile fiero out there somewhere. I saw it at a fiero show in Chicago last year. I dont remember where the guy was from though.

Ironically enough I was reading a Top Gear article about the Volvo P1800 as I saw this thread (June 2001 issue) and it is amazing- the car has never had any major work! Volvo's are known for lasting forever- so it comes as no suprise

my moms old explorer had around 800,000 miles on it when i last saw it, that was about 2 months ago. it has all original parts on it. engine/transmission are all original.

my friends integra has 225,000 miles on it and runs high 14s in the 1/4 mile still (i/h/e, ecu, msd ignition, straight pipe, short shifter) with no rebuild of engine/tranny.
i saw a civic on sale with 543k saw a chevy truck on amsoil.com with over 520k (dont remember exact) |

i used to own a honda sonata with 280 thousand + miles...key term is used...i only gave it 4 oil changes in 5 years...but that was back when i was younger...damn i used to be so damn stupid...someone shoot me LoL

personal rides
familys old ford bronco had 220,000 on it when we sold it ... know the guy we sold it to also and its still runnin good. my cars got almost 170k on it ... but the previous owner blew the original engine at 100k so i got a sohc zc in it.

170K? I've got that much on my toyota(original engine, I'm the second owner), plan on keeping it till it gets to 200K then pulling the 63K Yugo out of retirement to use as my everyday car. (the '69 Subaru by the way has an amazingly low 20,400 miles on it, not bad after three decades)

i had a 1980 datsun 210 hatch with 286,000 miles with a flowmaster exhaust and baby that still put down a 18.5 with 56 hp to the rearwheel rev it up and never blow up

My dad has a 1987 Ford F150 with 487,700 miles on it, orig engine, and that thing has been worked hard. The engine is still going strong, but the rest of it is being held together by bungee cords and duct tape (I live in maine, that's normal) and my husbands 79 bronco is somewhere over 300,000... I'll have to check to get an exact figure

My buick century 3.3 v6 has 270,000 miles, still runs great same engine had to get a new transmission at 120,000 miles though
