every time i go to Ireland (next time i go will be number 10, my mom was born there so hence alot of family), the females go APESHIT over my supposedly "Canadian" accent. i've heard rumours that if you're Canadian and go to England or Ireland, a girl will have you in the sack before you can say Bob's-your-uncle. i have yet to experience this, as i was only 13 the last time i went over, but next time...we shall see!

i'm good at imitating accents. sometimes i introduce myself to people i've never met before in an accent and see how they react to it. chicks go nuts for Irish accents.

on a girl...Irish is hot...some forms of English are hot (not over-done though), and good old Canadian is hot just because it's what i live with!

I think most Americans are ignorant and can't formulate a proper sentence should their life depend upon it. I was rather joking and being sarcastic but I neglected to insert a smilie thus denoting my intention. Dang. The whole "Kiwis sound funny" thing is an old joke that only a few people on AF will remember from my last experience regarding the NZ accent.

But I am partial to Aussie, SA, and most European. Never heard Kiwi spoken by a girl. I also think Indian is pretty damn sexy.

my favorite accent has to be irish. I love the sing song way of speaking.

and for a fun little piece of triva: The very clean accent from the North east USA(where I'm from) is apparently the closest existing accent to shakespearian english. I thought it was weird too but this was coming from an english teacher from england.

Hmmmm. So you mean that when I visited England and people asked if I was from Canada because of my accent, I shouldn't have replied "no"?

However I dig French, Czech and Russian accents too.
