Talking YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!

I can't believe that more of you have voted for winter than summer :ylsuper Right on!!

As you can probably guess, I too voted for winter. Sure, it's a pain to get to work in the snow, deal with the slushy messes and refreezing black ice on roads, etc. But I'll take that over a 100+ degree F day like we had this past August anyday! I love the chill of cold air, the natural high I get from stepping outside on a cold, still night (cold and windy just flat out sucks ). I have to spend lots on AC in the summer, but in the winter, I can moderate the temperature to where I like it in my apartment just by cracking a window (I rarely use my heat).

While I will always miss driving my car in the winter, I will trade it for those days where the slow falls in large flakes and sticks to the trees, houses, and pretty much everything else in the landscape. And then coming back inside to warm up afterwards, throw in a little Bing Crosby (did I just say that  )... doesn't get much better than that for my money

Winter. What snow?

Winter = more nighttime. That's my favorite part.

How could I forget to mention that? I, well, pretty much hate the sun. Yes, it's essential to our very survival, yadda yadda, but in general I like to avoid being directly in it. The longer the night, the easier it is to do this.

I think someday I'd like to head down to Antartica, work down at the South Pole for a year, experience 24-hour nights during the winter.. call me crazy

I wouldn't mind doing the same. Just get me outta there before the 6-month summer.

Its a compliment, of sorts.

Basicly a New Zealand and sometimes Aussie term for a Heavy metaler.
Think Waynes World, they were Bogans.
Long hair, black Jeans, black Metalica T-shirt.
Black woolen jumper. Drives a pre '80 Holden or Ford.

NO NO NO, that was an AMC Pacer. Awesome car. Chassis was designed by Porsche (very few people know that) - it may have been an ugly duckling by most people's standards, but it actually handled quite nicely (well ahead of its time), and had a 258 ci V6. It was my family car until I was age 10. The car was completely shackled by emissions controls.. with those removed, as my father had done to ours, the fucking thing was a hauler!!

I voted for fall nyself I love the leaves turning color and the relief from the oppresive summer heat. Although the last two years we haven't had a real fall, hell its November and it was in the 60s today and I live in southern New Jesey
