Hi Shayne, sorry missed your question, I used Micro Balloons, brushed on a good coat of matt black, then dusted on the Micro Balloons, blew off any excess, let it dry, then sprayed it over with Matt Black

Hi Ian, I use Matt Black Tamiya Acrylic, then you can reduce the thickness with a damp pointed cotton bud, or a cocktail stick without harming the 2k clear

Just about done, mislaid the decals for the wing mirrors, but otherwise done, was very impressed with the kit, way better than I thought it would be. Will be tempted to do a detailled one sometime, with the after market decals. Last photo is the 1984 DTM BMW, shows how things have changed

Thank you for the heads up on the seat. Simply sensational build, the model just looks so good and almost all OOB. Lovely work and i do like the two generations side by side.
