![]() So this is the bullbar that I wanted but a bit bigger so that it hides the awful looking front bumper I'm working on right now. |

Wanted it to have a more modern look so changed the design in some places

Didn't take any pic of the completed bullbar, will be uploading one in a bit and LEDs are in place but wondering what to use as an on/off switch.

Very nice work man.
I've seen some old toys or even new rc cars that can pass for model building. I'm gonna have to give it a shot some time. |

I purchased an 1:12 R/C Aventador after the actual Aventador first came out. Bought this one because it came with interior and engine details. The quality and finish of the product is so good that it looks more like a model rather than a R/C. Here is a pic of it. The one beside it is a 1/24 model. ![]() ![]() |

Re: WIP: Is it possible to convert this 15+ years (at least) old junk into something that looks a bit like a model?
The LEDs are working perfectly now. Since I didn't want a visible switch, made the spare wheel at the back its on/off switch. Turning the spare wheel clockwise switches the headlights on and anti-clockwise switches them off.
![]() ![]() I know the front bumper sucks and I had to go with it as I wasn't trying to make it look 100% like the 1:1 from the first place which would take a lot of time. I just wanted to make it into something that would pass for a model overall looks wise. Some of pajero's aftermarket off road bumpers do look like that tho and thats what I went for, since it was a much simpler design and was easier to make. |

Here's the pic of the finished bullbar. After completing the entire thing I realized that I forget to paint the main frame
. So all the black are painted using paint brush![]() Not bad huh? |
