GTR 21R to be auctioned by Gooding in Scottsdale - Jan 2014

Gooding & Co will be live streaming their event for those of us at a distance - the F1 GTR is due to cross the block on Saturday at approximately 2pm local time. I would suggest tuning in a little earlier than that just in case.

Scottsdale is UTC-7:00 in case that helps any of you. Both days start at 11AM so Friday is kicking off right about now. Here is the link:

The heck is the 75th Birdcage doing there? It's not on their online catalog. I'd want that car over the GTR...nice.

I am trying to find out. Gooding also does a large percentage of Private Treaty Sales so they may have sold or be selling it that way for Pininfarina if they still own it.

We are on Lot 131 at the moment and the GTR is Lot 137 so do tune in to the live stream fairly soon if you wish to watch the bidding on 21R. They spend about 5-10 minutes on each car.

The Birdcage is gorgeous, its a little bit early, but maybe they are showing it as a preview for the Pebble sale, its certainly going to be one of the stars of the whole weekend. Its listed here as lot 0: http://www.goodingco.com/showcase/

Oh - thank you for that info. I hadn't even bothered to look forward in their schedule but that makes perfect sense that it could appear at a future sale. They do Amelia before Pebble in March.

Good to know. Wonder what it will go for. I think (iirc) back in the day on Fchat, Napolis offered to help anyone interested in purchasing that car. Not sure if it would have been sold, but I wish I had it then. :/
