It's a good thing I'm not really afraid of heights, I was putting rafters on a house, and it was windy today. Oh, nasty. And those things get swaying bad when it's windy and they aren't on there good.

Two items....

Every once and a while when I get up in the morning and put my feet on the floor, I see something crawling. It usually turns out to be one of the local scorpions... (It's Florida you know -- The Sunshine State (and bug state)

A few years ago I was on vacation in Naples, FL. I rented a car and when I came out from where I was having dinner, I got in the car and put my hands on the wheel. I realized I had crossed thru a large sticky spider web that was woven across the door opening and to the steering wheel. It was dark but I looked all over for that thing but couldn't see it -- I expected to have it jump out on me while I was driving home. The next morning, I needed to go somewhere and when I opened the door, that thing had rewoven the web from the door to the steering wheel again. I looked all over and still couldn't find where it was hiding. Me and the spider spent several more days in Florida together-- I suspect it's still in Naples.

I hear scorpians like to hide in shoes.

They don't scare me as much as spiders, even though they are similar and usually more dangerous.

I heard that Spiders do hide in shoes. That terrified when I went to Arizona cause I heard stories of people dying because of Black Widows that were hidings in shoes. I wore sandles the whole time I was there.

Everything about spiders freaks me out. I don't know what it is, because even the smallest spiders make me just about wet my pants. If I walk through even a strand of web I go apeshit. Once I walked into my house and had a single strand run across my face. I went berzerk and started scratching my face and stuff. In the end I was just a big pile of scratch marks and tears. Sad, sad, pathetic me.

That is kinda pathetic. I walk through webs all the time so I'm glad I'm not like that. There always seems to be a fresh one outside the door every morning.

I don't find the ones that build large webs scarey. Its the dark ones that live indoors that shit me up.

I always found "Lizard King"s pic disturbing. I dont know if its the midget or the fatman or what but its creepy.
The biggest fear i have at the moment is not being able to finish all the project cars i got laying around.
