Re: Porsche 959 Paris Dakar 86

Going to follow this closely. I'd be very interested in a transkit as well.

Re: Porsche 959 Paris Dakar 86

Hi Guys !
I very much hope that the set will be made also all can buy it.
I work with the bottom part. I have some additions in front and a back part from Fujimi.

These are details for assemblage of a forward running gear. Some details will be used from a set Tamiya

The test assemblage :

The engine is collected for test. Now I will need to increase height of a back running gear.

Thanks you!

Very impressive work from you (as always).

It really is a pleasure to watch your progress. And I'm already impatiently waiting for the next update.

Re: Porsche 959 Paris Dakar 86

Hi Guys!
A little new in construction.

Air cooler:

Radiator in a forward part. It will be pasted from within bodies.

Lateral panels of an interior from GT2.
And sitting from Ford Sierra from Tamiya with small completions and cast from resin .

Insert for the instrument panel.

Copy of protective pipes from GT2 Tamiya.
I will do of them for this purpose Porsche

Stop signals on a roof and drawing for photoetching

Air scoop on the engine

And the first details for a set. My friend had doubts concerning qualitatively cast axes in wheels. And we have decided to try to make wheels first of all. All has turned out very well.

Cool Re: Porsche 959 Paris Dakar 86

I just ran across this photo and thought it may help you out. It's not much other than an unusual angle.
