Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

Not sure what is giving you the impression of 067 - if it was the Oregon plate on the Porsche don't let that influence you. Oregon is one of the states people like to register their cars in for favorable tax purposes.

That looks to be a new car into the USA, fresh from McLaren with the protective covering on the dash and P-touch labeling on the quarter window. That location appears to be Wallace Labs perhaps? Anyway, it is going to be one of the spots that does our EPA certifications and 067 would have no need to be there.

Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

It was the Oregon part on that site that drew my conclusion, specifically a post a few down from the 3 pictures containing the F1 stating the owner of the RS also in the picture was purchased and imported by a member of that site in Oregon - I didn't know Oregon had such a favourable Tax situation

Any more guesses?

Camera: Apple iPhone 4
Lens: 3.9 mm
Exposure: Auto exposure, Program AE, 1/15 sec, f/2.8, ISO 160
Flash: none
Date: September 27, 2010 3:43:09PM (timezone not specified)
(2 years, 10 months, 11 days, 16 hours, 27 minutes, 30 seconds ago, assuming image timezone of US Pacific)
File: 765 × 1,024 JPEG
344,684 bytes (0.33 megabytes) Image compression: 85%
16% crop of the 2,592 × 1,936 (5.0 megapixel) original

With it being an iPhone I would guess the date is correct which will lead you on to the answer more easily

No - 062 was also an Ameritech F1 so it doesn't need a visit to an EPA lab either.

Working off only the info that rattles around in my brain, that's going to be 066 then.

Well you were very close with your guess anyway, Greg.

Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

Wondered where this car would resurface. Going out on a limb a bit here - looks like 029 is at JK Technologies in Baltimore - missing some rear lights:

Look up 'i_am_thestig' on IG for a couple of short videos as well.

Hmm rare Porsche? Is that Clubsprot RS?
We have one of those in Finland.... More valuable than good Countach.

So I've not been keeping up, has 029 finally been really sold? And to someone in the US obviously? One of my favorites.

Jay's car is at the Art Center Car Classic - same place I first found it back in 2005 when I met Gordon for the first time. #fondmemories
