Answer Q18..... Acquisition of Ferrari,s old composite site at Shalford. Ready to use, which gave McLaren one less thing to think about.
Merry Xmas and a happy new year to you "Mr Bridger" |

Seriously though, the transmisson casing in 95 was aluminium, in 96 it was magnesium?..

Re: Now this should be exciting - McLaren versus Enzo on 5th Gear...
Answer Q20....The papaya livery survived on the McLaren,s works CanAm sports cars until 1972, on the formula 1 cars until 1971 and on its Indy cars until 1974.
(It might pay a few people hear, to read their "Driving Ambition" books, It might increase their knowledge span on the F1) Merry Xmas everybody and a Happy new year A really big thankyou to "Mr Bridger" for his excellent Quiz. (now somebody mentioned, something about a prize.... )" A ride in a papaya GTR across the Yorkshire moors, perhaps " Looks like there is, some nice stretches of tarmac up there. |

Mr. Bridger, I haven't answered the questions because I haven't read my copy of DA in about 5 years...very obviously! How people on here can read (and retain) hundreds of pages' worth of details is beyond me.
If I remember to get off the computer and go to work every morning, it's a miracle! |

Mr Bridger,
I have been looking at the pictures of your car and noticed your steering wheel looks smaller then the standard supplied by Mclaren. I think the standard one is 330mm dia yours looks about 280mm dia. Is it a none standard wheel? Very good quiz, just kept getting beaten to the punch |
