I had still not replied, essentialy because I know nothing about Hot Rods, but I follow every step of it.

You are not affraid to start HUGE projects of scratchbuilding, try differents materials, stop things to do them another way, ... I appreciate this kind of modeling and I wish you all the luck and courage possible to achieve your project.

UPDATES:

Heres a picture of the jig, with the rails. Not very intresting but worth posting (I know AF thrives on pics).

Right now I have just tacked the 4 crossmembers in place with super glue. Then I will "weld" them in place with Tamiya Epoxy Putty. Then tomorrow I will sand the putty, and then add more cross member supports.

--------------------
Comments anyone? I know its not much.

Mike, looks great, cant wait to see it when it is finished. Also, i dont know if u said any thing about the seats and interior, but i think you should buy a bit of actual fabric, and fabricat the seats, and floor, and stuff. But thats just a suggestion. Any ways keep up the good work!

Re: ULTIMATE SCRATCHBUILD: 1/6 Hot Rod (Progress)

Good thinkin with that jig.

I'm looking forward to seeing the leather interior... good luck... I wouldn't try it, but it should be cool. You can do it... but I would prep myself for some profanity if I were you. You should buy some fabric for the floor though.
