Just a quick question, why is the cross brace in 028 silver? In a lot of F1 it is usually gold like in this picture:

028 is probably my favorite road car. I have noticed however it could use some TLC in regards to the paint and interior. I guess that's a good sign meaning it gets driven.

Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

Actually half of those were taken in Germany before it ever came to the USA.

Where did you find these? I know where they came from, but the person who had them was going to share them here himself I thought?

Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

Ahh - so he uploaded them and just didn't have a chance to share them before you pounced.

I moved one of the shots and then put a dividing line in your post between the ones taken at Motorcars Intl and the ones from earlier in this car's life while still in Germany.

Credit for sharing them goes to my friend Michael McCord - aka the vsixdesign guy.

Cabrio92, I unfortunately do not know, as the photos were forwarded to me from a salesman at the time the photos were taken. Peloton25 might be able to shed some light on that one.

Re: Recap of the North American F1 fleet

I can't make heads or tails of what it says on the plate in any of those shots. I don't believe there is any other reference to it either. If Roger isn't aware I don't think we'll have an answer.
