No particular diet. I basically cut out junk food and soda. I eat smaller portions every few hours instead of 3 big meals a day. I allow myself a treat on occasion but don't keep any snack foods stocked at home. I also drink alot of water. I was going to the gym steadily 4 days a week too but that has fallen apart since schoolwork keeps me up late, much later than I would like to be. After the semester is over I am going to get back on my regular schedule.

Kat if you like mexican food i have some locations for you.

El Vira's. In A.J. north east corner of ironwood and apache
they have an excellent red burro (only 2.25) the tamales are pretty good, but small. they make their own tortillas so they are really good, but i wouldn't recomend the taco's.

carbajalls. a little closer then vira's its on main just west of sossaman
again an excellent red burro, a little bigger than at vira's but also a little more money, good enchillada's too.

El rico's. by far the best mexican joint i have ever had the pleasure of eating at! the tacos are phenomenal, chicken shredded beef or ground beef they are all superb. enchiladas, buritos, nachos, and a few other items; everything they have is a little taste of heaven. it is, however, a bit of a drive. get on power and drive south. about a quarter of a mile before power ends on the east side of the road you will find the best food in the state.

also el charro (don't remember exactly where it is, near brown and brown)
and jimenez country club north side of the road just east of extension in the little plaza

Too bad I didn't see this thread earlier. I just got back from a business trip to Phoenix. I ended up eating at Sam's Cafe at the Biltmore shopping mall.

Good god- I really don't trust that diet at all- Carbohydrates are extremely important for energy and nutritional purposes- although it's a shame to hear about the fate of Dr Atkins back last year he even went into cardiac arrest- not a good sign for the long term effects of the diet
