I would chose the 350Z hands down...they are better looking than corvettes. Corvettes are just overpriced cars that don't look at that good..sure they have 350hp, but the car is just soo damn heavy!!! Japanese cars are waaaay better than american cars...in every aspect.

got to admit i did lose to a NSX on the 118 here in LA but it was like 140mph my old as car wasnt made to go that fast it's freakin 30+ years old. but i wish i had a 4 with loads of hp and good on gas...:smoker2:

I hear the C5 handles like a pig... I hear the exact opposite about the 350z........ any of us who have driven a nice nissan and a nice chevy immediatly know the difference on suspensions so we dont need to comment. Its those people that have only driven chevy's and don't know how good a nissan sports car can handle that have no idea what they are talking about. I hear people ranting and raving o Nissans suck, but I gurantee if you took them for a ride in a nice suped up Z or 240sx... they would like it a lot... and I've seen a few cases of that happening, one guy has a LS1 Camaro and likes his 240sx WAY better, even though it has about 200hp less...... go figure.

350Z's are just badass in a different kind of way. They are still badass, though.

Corvettes are just too unoriginal. It isn't unusual to see a corvette ever, they don't really even turn heads anymore. 350Zs are totally different car than anyone has really seen before and there still isnt a lot on the road (at least not here in minnesota).

Check your numbers again. The 350z and the Corvette weigh about the same. The normal C5 is actually a few pounds lighter and the Z06 is even lighter than that.

As far as looks, that's a matter of personal opinion.

Anyway, why all the hostility toward someone just because they own a vette? I own a C5. It doesn't mean I don't like the 350z. The 350z is an awesome car. They're almost as fast as a vette for a lot less money. I just preferred the vette.

Lets see for the vette Z its what? 20-25K more, and everyone has seen the vette but a vette doesn't turn heads like my 350Z does. I'll stick with my 350Z and spend 3-5K more to eat the standard vettes.
