IMO the more the better....there is so many good builders on here at the moment we can only learn and get better
I agree we have many skilled modelers here....but it is the constant posting of "Look what happens when I use a can of hairspray and a lighter to put flames on my models!" or "Look I built this model in 6 hours, don't mind the fingerprints in the paint, cause I like em!" type threads that are driving me insane. It wouldn't be so bad if it were one or two a week, but there seem to be 10-20 of them a day.

I honestly miss the days of watching YOUR model projects come together and I have several of your threads (and hundreds of other pics) saved so I will have accurate reference when I build those kits.

The knowledge gained here is beyond value and I hate to see it cluttered by this other senseless crap. A little realignment of the forum should help sort things out a bit.

Maybe I'm just being selfish....

You have a valid point, but it could be much worse! There are other modeling forums I view that get cluttered with weather reports, obituary and "My daughter won the county spelling bee" type stuff, constantly. That is going to happen on any forum, but I'd say overall it stays fairly on track here, and what doesn't comes down to inexperience.
