Re: What up A.F? (Old School Members)

So it's been a while since I was here last. Seems an eternity ago, I've loved someone but not been loved back. Been loved it would seem but not enough, been caught in my own hubris, wandered the Earth like a soul lost and returned home with my tail between my legs. I thought I'd just get older and not necessarily wiser but it seems time whilst a fickle and hurtful mistress heals sometimes.

And the scars from my wounds still are visible, I can feel and count them each morning when I awake - they are as part of me as the breaths that sustain me and they drew me home as well as another fellow traveller. And so we met and I find myself in love again and loved back.

Is it perfect? No, it isn't and yet it is. So for all the scarred wounds are like lessons for us both and whilst I sometimes wonder to myself that life is not perfect - it does bring such rich reward each morning I awake in the arms of my beloved Lisa and we see the sun rise on the world through both sets of eyes, experience and memories.

So maybe I grow older and the joints feel the chill of winter upon us and the many miles they have travelled, wisdom slowly grows as does our happiness.

Since I've been on here I've driven a 3000GT SL, a Cavalier, and a VR4 3000GT which I keep on throwing money into. TD04 15G turbos getting ready to get dropped in with a SAFC and 550's. Don't really come in this section all that often though.

I have just started coming back on the forums as well after a couple years. They definately aren't as active as they used to be.

Re: What up A.F? (Old School Members)

I haven't been on in a long time. Been so busy with work, kids, hubby, being a moderator on a local car forum, and restoring the cougar that I just can't find the time. I miss this place though. I'll have to start getting on a little more often. Although, if Cassiesman doesn't count as an old school member then I definitely don't count.

Wow lots of old familiars in this post.

I stop by here occasionally, I just rarely use the computer anymore at home, I get enough of it at work all day.

Re: What up A.F? (Old School Members)

You can count me in as well. We should try to revive this place. I remember when Igor was making it big with the speed world challenge and everything and unfortunately the forum just kinda died down since it was specific enough.

It was nice knowing the small part of humanity you'll soon lose
