It's just that future is very thin. You will have to spray alot of thin coats. Future runs easily.

I think the ones on the right will accent the body paint better.

The body after several coats of 'Future" became a little darker more:

Now I put it aside for couple weeks. Then I will sand and polish it down.

Very nice work you're showing here.
Great idea with the covers for the front wheel wells.

I'm building this same kit at the moment (though as a GT racer) and was wondering what to do with the wheel wells. You found a very elegant and effective solution, which I'm glad to corporate into my build.

Re: Red Wine Jaguar XJ220

Hello everyone:
Here I decide to cover engine compartment with a foil out of cigarette box:
I also closed Tamiya's side wall "windows" using sheet styrene plus BMF:

Fuel lines:

Improved door stereo grilles, using dropper system filter plus contactor (marked with red):

Flock:

... and some small parts:

Sit belts are made of cigarette foil and etched hardware from "Model Car Garage":

Scrachbuilt sleeves made of cooper wire (right) and Evergreen rod (left). Clamps are strips of Cola can:

Feel free to ask questions.
