Hey you guys need to chill. You can’t compare the 2 cars, they are completely different. I have both a 1991 CR-X siR (EF8) 160ps and a 4th gen Prelude H22a 183BHP. Top end the Prelude is definitely stronger but I reckon the little CRX would have it low down.
The way I see it is the Prelude is more of a grand tourer and the CRX is just a fun car, this is just MHO and is how I choose to use the cars. The CRX being JDM it also has a few extras like climate control, power folding mirrors, LSD so it’s not quite basic compared to the lude. When it comes to drag racing a B16 powered CRX vs a H22 Prelude, I doubt there would be much in it due to the Preludes weight. However, the power deliver in the lude is much more refined, more grown up if you like.
