Your comments are inspirational and keep me going,
As far as panel lines, I dont do them because I dont think it looks realistic myself. However I am foing to try Alex Kustov's method of mixing a darker color than the body and try that method.

Alex' method definitely works or you can thin Tamiya Flat Black or Smoke to the consistancy of water and flow it in the lines as you see on my Exiv.
