I will likely shorten the mirror stalks as they are a bit tall.

I need to resolve the "two gas caps" problem w/the Camaro fender gas cap & the Mustang emblem (phony gas cap) between the taillights. I like them both separately. I will likely change the Mustang part, by blacking out most of it, or exchanging it w/something else, or perhaps making the panel smooth.

I have a bunch of leftovers from the bodies, and other combos will work, but not as good as this one

I've already thought about doing the same treatment to the original "pre-retro" versions of these cars. Not sure if that will work, haven't actually measured the parts. One never knows where I'll go with some of these crazy ideas

Looks great! I do agree with what you said about the gas caps though. They throw me off a little, Maybe just remove the mustang one.

Very nice! So if AMC where to come back, I would bet this is what their retro pony car would be. They had a thing for "borrowing" designs from the big three for years Paint it Red white and blue and just call it the 2011 Rebel Machine!

A few revisions since it was "finished" last week.

I blacked out the mirror stalks & part of the mirror housings, added a black wash to the gas cap, removed the Mustang faux gas cap emblem from between the taillights, & added a narrow band of body color back there to break up the black expanse...sort of a negative image of the hood stripes. It's getting there, though I may still work on it a bit.

The Challenger is one good looking car.
GM wouldn't of gone broke, if they brought back the Z28 with improved safety and Emission standards.
Ford Mustang learned, with the lost of the American T-Bird.

Personally I think it looks empty without an emblem between the lights, but it's looking good!
