Re: 1/18 Scratchbuil Garage and Porsche 356B

That is just fantastic!! It's really good to be able to compare it with the original pictures, & see just how close you got all the details - absolutely brilliant job!!

Can I ask whether you scratchbuilt things like the air compressor & welder, or did you buy them? If so, could you let me know where you can get them from?

Really great model (& a fantastic birthday present!)

Keef

Thanks for the very quick reply! You left out one thing, as well as a good sparesbox & imagination you need very good building skills like you have!

one thing, if you mean with "welder" the blue/yellow gastanks, they are selfbuild with "partsbox and imagination"

Stupendous, amazing work, looks real! I hope your friend was grateful.

You would struggle with my garage, too full of stuff!

What a fantastic job! One of my favourite cars and even the garage looks a bit like mine!

If I had one suggestion for improvement it would be the mirror over the sink and I only mention this as it may be useful for you for future builds on cars and bikes etc.

I've used mirrored clear styrene before which comes in various sizes and is about 2mm thick. I have a suppliers website address here as I know it's very hard to find...good luck and carry on the great work:
